no one trusts products that are listed on a janky website.īut he has no motivation to do so because he is simply too busy selling a Bazillion of these to the cruiser bike crowd and their dealers (more than he can possibly keep up with during the spring & summer Harley-Davidson/cruiser bike season). Unfortunately, the Biketronics website is still a train wreck, and I've mentioned to Mike on several occasions that he really needs to address this in order to gain a solid reputation and trustworthy brand image among the car audio crowd.i.e. But that's because these amps are All Business. They also don't have the "bling" of a "prestige" high-end brand. But Mike has worked with the extremely well-regarded and tested Hypex UcD amplifier modules longer than anyone else in the 12v industry and his custom input stage and power supplies have better specs and performance than Hypex's own. Many car audio purists disregard these amplifiers because they are "made for Harleys" and "you don't need SQ on a bike stereo so these are just average". Or he will set the input gain to be optimized to your source unit's maximum clean output voltage. You can ask him to include an adjustable Gain Control (see my BT2700-2 photo link below) that encompasses your target input voltage range to match your source in order to maximize the Power Output, SNR, and Noise Floor (which is already non-existent in these amps).
